The author puts into words her experiences and feelings so creatively that you just become so absorbed with her story. It evokes your emotions and gets you thinking about your own life experiences!

My Road Beyond The Codependent Divorce begins immediately where The Road Back To Me ends. I have written the story in two parts because I believe a great reason for why we Adult Children fall into dysfunctional relationships is because we have not been taught to appreciate our emotional, spiritual Se;f; the Self we were supposed to learn to honor in childhood, and did not because we were born to beings who instead programmed us to worry about what they and others thought about us. This books speaks to the terrifying and crippling emotional states we face when we have decided to finally stand up for our selves and assert boundaries with those who have been accustomed to treating us so poorly. I offer my story up to you, the readers in the hopes that you are able to walk away with some sort of blueprint you can adopt to help you move beyond the circumstances that have you denying the Self for the sake of others. When I ended my codependent marriage, my life literally turned inside out and upside down. Like stepping off a cliff and into an unknown abyss, everything was unfamiliar. Hold onto your seats dear one, because my story ends magically! Once I learned the lessons I needed to help me hold onto myself, I also learned to make necessary mental and emotional shifts within, that allowed me to attract an amazing partner. I do not want to spoil the ending. But I am sure you will enjoy it.
