Don Parent is a Writer, Website publisher, Internet Pioneer and Warzone PTSD Survivor. He is also a 100% Service Connected Disabled Vietnam veteran. He was wounded six times leading up to and including the Tet Offensive of 1968. This resulted in multiple Purple Hearts. Four of the wounds happened in just one day. That was his last day in the field. But it was not his last day in the trenches (Flashbacks). He had years of war related trauma still ahead! Over the next 45 years Don struggled with PTSD & Substance Abuse. Through research and study he was able to turn his life around and become a War Zone PTSD Survivor! He now lives a happy and productive life with Ginger, his wife of 45 years. They were married on his R & R during his deployment. Ginger suffered her own brand of PTSD by contact.
