A true story of a double-life! How to make your own porn? Maybe, but not exactly. This book will appeal to any man or woman who has ever wondered what the world of porn may be like. This book could fall in to many categories but pigeon-holing it would be difficult. Meet Tony Stone. A young Chicago man who had it all but wanted something more. Dipping his toe in the dirty puddle of homemade "professional" pornography during the online boom of the early 2000s. This book is a journey of a young man leading a double-life. He recounts four bizarre years while in the grip of a sex-addiction fueled 'hobby". He tells the story in a moment by moment, linear fashion so it reads like a journey. The reader will go along with him as he decides to enter this strange world of low-budget porno. From buying the cheap camera at Best Buy, to running a local ad, Tony will leave little to your imagination on exactly how this ball got rolling...and kept rolling. Mr. Stone writes in a very introspective manner. He details his feelings when corresponding with these beautiful ladies or dodging organized crime in Chicago. His attention to detail is impeccable as he cites dates, exact emails & even includes a dozen original photos of the line up of gorgeous ladies he ended up "working with". He has a respect for women that is obvious as he often self-flagellates about some of the misogynistic attitudes he had/has. This is not a man who is bragging about sexual conquests in explicit form but a man who often self-reflects and admits to the repulse he felt at many times throughout his journey. You'll get the feeling that this is a rather scab-peeling memoir for him to write and he struggles with some of the things he did and risks he took to get his "high". You'll go along for the ride as he recounts narrowly avoiding a possible murder or organized crime set up. Join him in accidentally meeting the girl of his dreams at a porn shoot or "working" with a stoned hooker or an under appreciated house wife. There is something quite likable about the author and his honesty that will surely grow on you whether you are male of female. He often cracks jokes, self-deprecates and keeps asking himself "what the hell am I doing", "Why can't I stop this?" and "do all girls really have these types of fantasies as well?" He shares the lessons he learned along the way. Being most fascinated by women and their inner needs and desires. He shares his conclusion of "men seems to seek fulfillment and women are seeking approval" while vividly recalling every video he produced in every detail - getting the hotel room, meeting the girl, his expectations and his many surprises. He describes his nerves while waiting on his first appointment, his lack of risk-management while setting up an impromptu "porn studio", the shock at the profit opportunity in the world of internet porn and the shame he felt neglecting the important things in his life during this stretch of time. All is shared as he recount his "Real Boogie Nights" - the Good the Bad and the Ugly. This book can be enjoyed by both men and women alike. The subject matter is very adult, obviously, but the author isn't disgusting or vulgar in his vivid description and makes it clear that this "is not a smut book but my journey through the world of smut". This is a real memoir. Not a bragging rights-filled pamphlet of attractive girls he "worked" with. His summations are honest and humble while he consistently describes what it was like to lead this bizarre double-life. Some, identity-protected, totally original photos of the girls are shared in the book but they are not the highlight. You will not be cheated on any details of these encounters that took place between 2003 & 2006 in the Chicago area. Strap in for the most intriguing true story book to ever hit the self-published market. Update - the "howtomakeporn.blogspot.com" site to answer any questions from readers!
