Review
Chuck Kelly, a certified hypnotherapist, is one of those who has mastered the skills of hypnotherapy, and as an excellent writer, has provided a remarkably helpful, clear, inviting, and personal “Little Book” for those who want to learn self-hypnosis. Chuck comes to this profession from a life of wide and challenging experiences. He lived much of what he now teaches. He survived show business as a musician and singer. Anyone who braves the world of entertaining, no matter how talented, certainly needs all the self-help tools, self-esteem support, motivation and audacity, if they are to survive the rigors of “the business.” Chuck shares his life experience and his clinical training to bolster a reader’s acceptance of hypnosis, especially self-hypnosis, as an effective pathway to wholeness.
From the Foreword by Christopher Rubel, Rel. D.
Dear Chuck,
I just completed my reading of the Little Book and was favorably impressed…I found it very interesting although I had practically no prior knowledge of this kind of therapy. I also sadly realized that I harbored a pretty cavalier personal approach toward the fears, limits and deficiencies that many other people find crippling…I found it was well-written and packaged in good bite-sized pieces. The real life examples from your practice kept me grounded in reality and added a lot. You address an appropriate range of common problems, identifying each clearly and then providing the necessary "How-to-fix-it” procedure. The nice thing is that you don’t have to read the book straight through— if the reader needs help with a specific topic, you can find it easily.

About the Author
With professional success in the music and entertainment industries, Chuck Kelly fulfilled another lifelong ambition when he took Dr. Finzi's hypnotherapy course at Long Beach Community Hospital in January 1986 to become a Certified Hypnotherapist. While still writing and editing books, Chuck began his hypnotherapy practice in Long Beach, California. Always eager to learn more, Chuck took another hypnosis course from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in December 1989 for his second certification. Being a writer with an understanding of the value of hypnosis, Chuck wanted to write a book to help others help themselves through self-hypnosis. Viola! The Little Book about Self-Hypnosis was born. Chuck has a Master's Degree in Communication from International College. In 2017 Chuck was awarded the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award for 20 consecutive years' listing in a Marquis Who's Who publication.
