#IChoseMe: Coming Back From Heartbreak and other Bad Relationships

Joresa Blount is a media personality working as an entertainment correspondent, technology journalist, and news reporter. After a year of major setbacks in 2015 that included losing two jobs and having a major surgery, Blount created an online talk show called The Comeback Series. As the host and producer, she interviews women who have had a defining setback that pushed them to a divine comeback. Originally from North Carolina, Blount graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Creative Writing. With passion and a search for purpose, she set her eyes on the big city. Blount moved to New York shortly after graduating where she fell in love with acting. It was the human connection and authenticity she enjoyed about the craft. In 2009, she launched her first digital talk show, Celeb Locale, that gave actors and independent filmmakers a platform to promote their work. In 2014, she was named Woman to Watch by Ambition Magazine. In 2016, Blount graced the cover of the inaugural issue for Faith Heart Magazine. Because of her passion to encourage women, she launched the 8daycomeback.com ecourse for women to identify their blocks, get over fear, and walk in their purpose. When she’s not working her way to the top, she’s enjoying a good cup of coffee at a cute cafe.
