In the past, our cultures provided rituals as a way to realize our higher selves. Most of us no longer have access to these rituals nor are we part of cultures that support them. Our modern society sees only the material side of life, with its unending buffet of amusements. Our religions are directed towards hierarchy and opinion rather than Presence. If none of these are spiritually useful to us, what are we to do?It seems we will have to find our own way. It may be difficult, or impossible, but it seems we have no choice. I’m not a teacher, guru, or priest. I can’t lead or guide you. I don’t know what you should do. I may have something for you though. I was a pilgrim for seven years. What I have gone through and experienced may have some meaning for you.
