I also include personal stories of poverty and trauma using concepts such as emotional intelligence and behavioral psychology as a meams of building self-awareness. The journey of this material starts by identifying four of my personal barriers of mediocrity. These barriers encompass evaluating a broken identity, vision, mindset and lack of emotional intelligence. By navigating these four paradigms, identity, vision, mindset, and emotional intelligence with the ideal direction that you desire for your life to reflect, you will achieve optimal results. As we conclude section one of the material the second half of the book is about living with intention and purpose.

My goal with this material in section one is to show the reader how to find their most authentic self, acquire clarity on a groundbreaking vision, transition through limited, flawed, and broken mindsets and leverage passion and enthusiasm to break the mold of mediocrity.

Let me be the first to thank you for taking control of your destiny. Many are called, but few are chosen. I am honored to have the privilege of pouring into your greatness.
This book, "From Living to Legacy"came about as I was forced to face many of the flawed beliefs that restricted my own state of evolution. Just like you, I have lived a long life aspired by those who grew beyond the norms to create extraordinary lives. Unfortunately this reality isn't the story or narrative that we all get to experience. I am a product of the inner city. I have a brother that died at the age of seventeen to gun violence. I have another brother serving forty years in prison. I have lost three friends to drug overdoses in the past five years. Truthfully, I am a man that had to fall in love with the ideal of being uncomfortable, to surpass the common mishaps that was embedded in the foundation of my life.
With that stated, we are going to go on a journey that will navigate us from simply living and merely existing to leaving a legacy and of course, living with intention and purpose. In the pages to follow, we will examine two life principles, adapting to mediocrity or adopting to mindfulness. Hang on to your future, let go of your past.
