This book is based on many years of research and experience working in the school system and with children who have special needs. I enjoy homeschooling my own children and implement accommodations and specialized techniques. Over the years, I have advocated for families in the school.  Often, I review and help create IEP and 504 plans both as an advocate and as an occupational therapist.  

Cara Koscinski has a master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) and frequently speaks at special needs conferences. She is the mother to two children with autism, sensory processing disorder, and medically complex needs.
