Suicide and Psychological Pain: Prevention That Works

Jack Klott, MSSA, LISW, CSW, MINT, brings to you expertise, experience and insights drawn from a career in mental health spanning 40 years as a clinician, teacher and author. In that time he has worked primarily with men and women experiencing the co-occurring disorders of severe, persistent mental illnesses and substance-related disorders. He is a 30-year member of the American Association of Suicidology and was a founder of the Michigan Association of Suicidology, an organization that recently honored him for his contribution to suicide prevention in Michigan. He has authored The Suicide and Homicide Risk Assessment and Prevention Treatment Planner (Wiley & Sons, NY 2004) and The Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment Planner (Wiley & Sons, NY 2006).
