About the Author
Halina Brunning is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Organizational Consultant, and Executive Coach. She has worked in the British and Polish National Health Service as a clinician, therapist, supervisor, manager, and consultant. She has published extensively on clinical and organizational issues and has co-written three books and over twenty articles on these subjects. In parallel with her NHS career, she has worked as an Organizational Consultant and Coach with a variety of public sector organizations. Her psychological and psychodynamic approach to coaching is informed by the Tavistock Clinic systems-psychodynamic training, which she completed in 1991. Additionally, she also trained as a Change Agent, Facilitator, Group Leader, and Executive Coach in a number of training organizations, including the Institute of Group Analysis, Institute of Family Therapy, the King’s Fund Centre and Quorum Organisational Psychologists. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, member of the International Society of the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations, OPUS, and Association for Coaching.
